The whole process of making a DVD is time consuming. I have to first put the video on to my computer (I have a VCR hooked to my computer), then it has to render the video (which seems to take forever) and then it burns it on to a DVD. The burning process itself does not take too long. When I want to make a DVD, I usually just let it render and burn overnight. When I wake in the morning...it's done.

I have not tried copying one DVD to another...I will try that next. So far, I have only been turning my home movies into DVDs.

If you have a DVD player, it has to be able to play DVD+R disks (most newer models do play DVD+R format).

As for the expense of mailing, it costs nothing... (provided the destination is in the USA), I use the stamp machine from work. I haven't bought a stamp in over four years...I drop the mail in the nearest mail box every night... it has its perks
