Melissa, you did just fine, sweetie!

It is a tough day for us all here in the good ol' USA for many different reasons. We cry for those who have died - thousands of innocent lives snuffed out, and not JUST Americans - many different nationalities, religious & political persuasions died a year ago. Bin Lauden and his minions wanted to strike at the very heart of American capitalism, and the Satanic Americans; he killed instead thousands of innocent people from all around the world.

And he did one other thing that I'm SURE he did not mean to. He awakened a "sleeping giant". I cried for those we loss; for the families who now have unfillable holes in their lives - for the rest of their lives. I also cried for the brave men and women who have and who will in the future be giving their lives to protect the freedom we in the free, democratic world enjoy. They will die not just for Americans, but for ALL countries who practice and believe in a free, open and democratic society.

But I also cried for the pride I feel when I see that those of us who believe in freedom - enough to give our lives for it - will NOT be stopped by ANY terrorist. Ever.

It will be a very long and arduous fight. Maybe it will never truly be over, since we are also fighting beliefs. An innumerable number of prayers have been said and will continue to be said for it to come to an end. But what is our alternative? Give up? Give in? Cry and weep for mercy from people who are so inherently evil they do not care whom they inflict their murderous intentions on?

I don't think so.
