There are photos about of Liam at the world premiere of the film "The Eclipse" yesterday as part of the Tribeca film festival in NYC. It stars his close friends Ciaran Hinds and Aidan Quinn. Given the subject of the film (see here: http://www.tribecafilm.com/filmguide/The_Eclipse.html?c=y&3301=170146&curView=browseDetail&sortBy=title ), it must have been an emotional experience.

Liam Neeson 'doing well' after death of wife Natasha Richardson

Liam Neeson "is doing extremely well" in the wake of wife Natasha Richardson's death last month, the actor's pal Aidan Quinn tells usmagazine.com.

"He's very grateful for all the love and support he's gotten from across the globe and from so many people," Quinn told Us at the New York City premiere of "The Eclipse" late last week.

"He's got a great family and a great support system of friends, and they're all doing as well as expected under the circumstances."

Neeson's two sons, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12, are also "doing amazingly well," Quinn told Us.

Quinn said it's important the boys maintain a normalcy to their lives. On April 15, Neeson and Quinn took the boys to a New York Knicks game.

(This story is out of London.)

AN EXTRAS film casting company is looking for Mediterranean-looking men and women of all ages to play the parts of soldiers, maids, servants, ladies in waiting, nobleman and sailors for a new feature film starring Liam Neeson.
UniversalEXTRAS Ltd are currently working on a new blockbuster from Warner Brothers with Neeson as one of the main characters.
Mediterranean looking men and women from the London area are being sought to take part in the film.
Filming dates will be taking place over June, July and August though extras will only be required for selected dates during that time depending what role they are allocated to.
Minimum pay for the day is £81 with catering supplied.
To be in with a chance to appear as an extra, send an email to
info@universalextras.co.uk to include the following:
Full Name, Age, Contact number, Height, Basic measurements (Chest/Bust, Waist, Hips, Inside Leg, Shoe, Collar, Dress), Location, Whether you drive, Relevant Experience and a current photo of yourself: (digital head-shot taken with a digital camera in front of a plain background)
The casting company is hoping to recruit extras within the next two weeks.

Neeson 'talks to ski instructor who last saw Richardson alive'

London, May 5 (ANI): Mourning Liam Neeson has spoken to the unnamed ski instructor who last saw his wife Natasha Richardson breathing, it has emerged.

The dad-of-two wanted to know what happened to the actress after she fell and hit her head in March, causing fatal internal bleeding, The Sun reported.

A source at Quebec's Mont Tremblant resort, Canada, said of Liam: "He was very dignified and never sought to blame anyone - he just wanted to understand what happened for his own peace of mind."

Richardson sustained a head injury in a fall March 16 during a skiing lesson in Quebec.

Richardson died two days later. (ANI)

Amid the auctioneering, [Annie] Lennox entertained guests with songs including "Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves." The singer dedicated "There Must be an Angel" to amfAR supporter Natasha Richardson, who died after a skiing accident in March.

Stone said amfAR was setting up a fund in Richardson's memory for research on a cure for AIDS and donated $50,000 to help it along.

"Natasha said that she would go on until a cure was found for AIDS," Stone said. "I believe that she will."

NATASHA'S NOTABLE LAST WILL

Beloved late actress Natasha Richardson remembered a Queens costume designer, a London employee and her half-sister by setting aside a chunk of cash for each in her will -- but she left the bulk of her assets to husband Liam Neeson, according to her estate papers.

The London-born actress, who died a few days after a seemingly innocent fall during a March ski vacation in Quebec, would have turned 46 on May 11.

Her will was written in 2005, and Neeson, along with one of the couple's closest friends, actor Aidan Quinn, are listed as the executors of the estate.

The couple had homes in Manhattan and the Hudson Valley, where Richardson was buried.

The actress, daughter of actors Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Richardson, bequeathed $200,000 to half-sister Katharine Grimond Hess; $50,000 to Josephine Burke, an employee who lives in London; and $10,000 to Queens resident Kevin Mark Harris, who works in television as a costumer.

She also left $20,000 for her aunt.

Neeson 'in talks for A-Team film'

The star is in talks to play Hannibal in the film

Actor Liam Neeson is in talks to star in the big-screen version of classic TV show The A-Team, according to reports.

The 57-year-old is in negotiations to star as John "Hannibal" Smith, the role made famous by the late George Peppard, industry newspaper Variety said.

It also reported that The Hangover star Bradley Cooper was also involved in talks to star in the film as womanising Templeton "Faceman" Peck.

Production is due to begin on the film in August for a June 2010 release.

The other two remaining roles of "Howling Mad" Murdock and "BA" Baracus have still yet to be cast.

However US rapper and Terminator Salvation star Common has been rumoured to be in talks to star in the the role that made Mr T an 80s icon.

Tony and Ridley Scott are producing the film, which will stick to the TV show's premise of four war veterans wrongly convicted of armed robbery who escape from a military prison to become do-gooder mercenaries.

Okay, here's a bit of the kind of Liam-loving, serendipitous trivia I'm famous for (or should be):
Paul Muldoon is the Northern Ireland poet Liam quoted in his speech accepting his honorary degree.
He will be on The Colbert Report on Thursday, June 18. The show is broadcast in the US, but will almost certainly hit the internet shortly after it airs.
I have picked up a secondhand copy of one of Muldoon's collections; his poetry is interesting but challenging. I'm looking forward to hearing/seeing him, even on Colbert. If any of the rest of you watch it, I'd like to know your reactions.
Besides, with Liam away filming, what else is there to do?
